To put it bluntly we strongly believe that the markets that we play in are rife for innovation.


The current players have built large and successful businesses over many decades. But it does trap them in legacy approaches and a difficulty to judge start-up businesses and their performance when applying established business metrics and processes.


Our team are all heavily experienced in the market and working with these companies. But to achieve disruption we simply start them from a different place, much closer to consumer needs and a way to fulfil that with no historic restraint of doing things. And a look at value capture and progress through a different lens.


Existing big businesses may be the leaders in the category today. But we think we will shape the leaders of tomorrow.

Quite simply we are all about partnering.


We bring real IP and ability, but look for partners with capabilities and needs that complement our own, all importantly entwined around an aligned end point.

HOW WE DO, WHAT WE DO.

The start of any such play is ideation and business case building in the innovation area. We have a number of consumer researched ideas ourselves, but also offer the process of partnering and running an innovation process for big business to describe and pin point its best go to market opportunities in this space.


Once this is decided, or if a partner already has their innovation angle decided, then its to the design of the operating model and operationalisation. A core strength of ours is standing businesses up.  We work through start up, incubation and then onto scale up. All our businesses are direct to consumer brands, and we build dedicated teams in spaces outside of our corporate partners. In this way the business can have the culture and agility of being independent, but through experience we have learnt the processes that give transparency and input for corporate partners.


In this manner the business gains the agility it needs for speed, with the backing and support to go distance.


And finally we add to the value equation with a unique model in the area of consumer marketing media. In the business of building consumer brands from the ground up this can be the costly component. We count Australia’s major media companies as our partners and have a model that de risks or negates this investment. All allied with our ability to plug in an outstanding strategic marketing capability.


Working with media companies around performance and return and not upfront media spends we offer a lower cost and unique approach to consumer marketing, where Bammboo can match through media value every dollar of capital invested by a partner.
